REMOTE provides a forum to identify and promote the best possible pedagogy, techniques and tools by faculty for online and blended learning and to help faculty design the most engaging experience for learners. REMOTE is an independent conference hosted by Arizona State University.

REMOTE: The Connected Faculty Summit will gather leading educators with extensive practical online and blended teaching and learning experience to present immediately useful and evidence-backed practices on both subject-specific and general online teaching techniques.  Attendees can access 40+ curated sessions of 30 minutes during two half-days of simultaneous learning tracks.

Why Attend?

Attendees can earn a Professional Development Credential by attending and completing 6 sessions at REMOTE.

REMOTE helps higher education faculty meet the challenges of teaching today and in the future.

  • Discipline insights:  Sessions will be categorized in multiple tracks led by educators across multiple disciplines
  • Increase student engagement: Sessions will include how to engage and support students in the blended classroom to ensure diversity and inclusion
  • Build a network of support: Meet and engage with peers and experts in live sessions, participate in networking discussions in virtual lounges
  • Gain access to curated free resources: Recorded sessions from the event itself will be available until the end of the year.

We are pleased to once again host ASU’s REMOTE: The Connected Faculty Summit, now in its third year. The 2022 event to be held on June 8-9, virtually, will be just as relevant as the first two iterations. During the two days of the event, and on-demand for six months after, we bring together frontline faculty and decision makers from global universities and colleges to share highly relevant strategies and interventions for all learning modalities.
